The BFP International team focuses on biomass commodities producing and sourcing sustainable concepts that demonstrate a high energy efficiency balance and are economically viable. In addition BFP International endeavours to support bio energy initiatives that can be cultivated on poor soils and unexploited lands, so for that reason the increasing acreage for energy crops shall not have a negative impact on current feedstock acreage will have minimal impact on food security and the food prices. Nor do we allow deforestation, felling of virgin rainforest and the disappearance of unique biodiversity. In order to achieve these goals BFP International focuses on innovative energy crops, biomass and residue streams that lead to next generation biofuels and bioenergy and we do a proper evaluation of the acreage that we intent to use or cultivate.

When we speak of biomass with a high energy efficiency balance, it means that the output of energy delivered by the end product is substantially higher than the initial energy needed to produce the biofuel or bioenergy, hence contributing to a better environment and providing a sound economic model for investors and participants to invest. It is our belief that all of the aforementioned aspects form a delicate balance and need to be in equilibrium in order for biofuel and biomass initiatives to be successful.
